Franciscan Friars
The Franciscan Order was founded by Francis of Assisi, in 1210, thanks to the permission from Pope Innocenzo III.
The movement, called "Ordine dei Frati Minori", aims to poverty, total renounce of material property, charity and simplicity. Saint Francis is for a pure and prayerful living, sharing the life of unlucky and diseased people.
We gave homage to the Franciscan Order in Assisi SL, wearing their vests.
